 | | Clicker Training Course | | | September 2010
Clicker training is a simple and powerful reward based method for teaching animals, including dogs and has the following benefits:
•Increases the dog’s confidence.
•Improves the bond between dog and owner.
•Dogs frequently become more enthusiastic.
•Owners often report that their dog learns things more quickly.
•As the dog and owner become more skilled at learning together, owners often find that their own enjoyment of training is increased.
Clicker training has been used successfully in a diverse range of activities including treating aggressive behaviour, competing in obedience and training assistance dogs to list but a few.
This course introduces the concepts of clicker training & allows participants to start developing their skills with their dog. All equipment will be provided.
